Photos this month are from Italy! Italy is one of the most popular countries for Americans to visit, and I’ve loved all my trips there!

Wander Wednesday
“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien
This plate of cicchetti (small snacks served in bars) looks appetizing, doesn’t it? Venice is the place to go bar hopping and try out the different treats offered at each one. A good way to get a variety of food and lots of great information is to take a walking tour. I fell in love with Venice the first time I went (I was 13 years old) and always hope to return. Of course, there’s much more to see and do in Venice than eat and drink! Get lost in the small streets, take a gondola ride, and visit the churches and museums. Take in an opera! To get my Venetian armchair travel fix, I love the Commissario Guido Brunetti novels by Donna Leon.
