Summer is coming to an end, but this can be a great time to travel! Look for the places with few crowds and great weather!
This month’s photos highlight some of the great food from all over.

Wander Wednesday

“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien

tea sandwiches and pastries

This is a pretty typical spread for a high tea. Scones, jam and cream, small sandwiches, and pretty pastries make up the menu. Oh and don’t forget to choose the perfect tea to enjoy along with the food. It can take the place of lunch for sure, and sometimes even works as an early dinner.

This tea was at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Other notable high teas I’ve had were at the Ritz Hotel, London: a dazzling array and amount of food, along with lovely piano accompaniment, and the vegan high tea at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris. Those pastries were so beautiful and delicious, we would never have guessed that everything was plant-based.  I think the indulgence is definitely worth it!
