Hopefully, travel is getting easier for all of us. Please continue to follow all health and safety protocols, as well as testing, to keep you and your family well.
This month I’m highlighting some of my favorite animal photos! Some with me in them, so thank you to the photographers!
Wander Wednesday
“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien
A group of penguins on land is called a “waddle.” On South Georgia Island in the Antarctic region, this name doesn’t capture the idea! This area is one of the largest King Penguin colonies and it’s amazing to see. These fluffy brown penguins are still chicks hoping to find their parents and get fed. While you can’t get too close, sometimes the penguins want to! We went to Antarctica with Quark Expeditions and we are going back in 2023! IF you want to come along, contact me and I’ll give you the info.
