Wander Wednesday

“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien

The Covid-19 pandemic prevented us from traveling the world the way we used to. While I am not advocating that you travel now, if you choose to travel, please heed government guidelines for health and safety. Be sure to check the health situation in the place you are going and be prepared with appropriate supplies. Remember the health measures that you take to protect yourself also protect those around you! If you can’t travel now, you can still dream about where to go when you can!

This month I’m showing photos of our travels to places related to special November days.

November 18 is Mickey Mouse Day! On this day in 1928 the first movie with Mickey Mouse went public. The Disney empire has grown to encompass movies, television, theme parks (in 5 countries), hotels, lots of themed clothes and food. This chocolate covered rice krispie treat is a favorite.  Walt Disney is famous for saying, “I only hope that we don’t lose sight of one thing-that it was all started by a mouse.” One day I hope to see the Disneylands in France, Japan, and China!
