Wander Wednesday
“Not all those who wander are lost.” J.R.R. Tolkien
Things are changing fast in the world of travel! It is important to keep up with testing requirements and enhanced health and safety protocols. If you do decide to travel, please follow the guidelines for those areas.
While the world isn’t quite open to us yet, there are signs of hope!
This month we highlight some of the hidden gems I’ve discovered in my travels.
You might not consider the Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires, Argentina a hidden gem, exactly. It is world-famous for being the location of Eva Peron’s tomb. The cemetery houses over 6000 statues, crypts, and mausoleums. The place is definitely worth an hour or so to see the elaborate designs. My photo was taken from the balcony of our hotel: Sileo Hotel, a modern hotel with fascinating views.
