If you are a LOTR/Hobbit fan, then you’ll want to go to New Zealand as soon as you can and visit Hobbiton-the place where The Shire was recreated for the movies. There are many fun activities here, from touring the many houses to having an ale at the Green Dragon Inn. Many of the tours are given by locals who participated in the filming, so they have lots of good insider stories!
