Wander Wednesday

“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien

The Covid-19 pandemic has prevented us from traveling the world the way we used to. While I am not advocating that you travel now, if you choose to travel, please heed government guidelines for health and safety. Be sure to check the health situation in the place you are going and be prepared with appropriate supplies. Remember the health measures that you take to protect yourself also protect those around you! If you can’t travel now, you can still dream about where to go when you can! This month I’m showing photos of our travels to some of the beautiful places in the lower 48 states!

sunflowers and mountains

This is my favorite photo from our trip to Wyoming last summer. I played with my new iPhone’s camera focus and perspectives. The Grand Teton National Park has a lot to recommend it, although many people just pass through on their way to Yellowstone. I would recommend spending a few days just exploring the side roads and off-the-beaten paths hiking trails. A good app is the Just Ahead Audio Travel Guides. It uses your GPS and tells you information about what you are passing. And it works offline, as well.

Where would you like to be wandering?
