This month we are taking a closer look at one of my favorite countries to visit: New Zealand! There is a lot to experience here-from mountain vistas to dramatic coastlines. The food and wine culture are varied and delicious. And you can visit your favorite movie locations!

Wander Wednesday

New Zealand is often billed as the “Adventure Capital of the World” since bungy jumping, zorbing, and jet boats were invented here. But there is something to be said for just chilling out and enjoying the scenery. We were lucky enough to spend a few nights at The Landing in the Bay of Islands (Northern Island), courtesy of Tourism New Zealand and Spice of Life. We explored the local islands on a private boat tour, went kiwi-spotting at night, had a private chef make us an amazing dinner, and sampled their delicious wines. I’d recommend The Boathouse for this waterfront view, and relax!
