Wander Wednesday

“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien

As we look at where we can travel now-and don’t we want to get out there again?-I’m showing photos of places a little off the beaten path. You can still feed your wanderlust by dreaming and planning your future adventures. Stay safe and healthy and let me know if you have questions or want help with your next trip.

Mountains and sea Italy

I really hope to get back to Italy in 2021! This photo is from one of my favorite trips in 2019 to the Cinque Terre. I was in the hilltop town of Corniglia looking north west to the town of Vernazza-which you can just see on the shoreline. The train stops at sea level in Corniglia, and then you have to hike a series of switchback stairs (called the “Lardarina”) with 382 steps to get to the village proper. Luckily for us, a shuttle bus was running from the train station to the town so we didn’t have to walk up. We did walk down! The streets are narrow and winding and the views are amazing.

Where would you like to be wandering?
