Alaska Seward Highway

Driving into the mountains can be exciting in the summer, scary in the winter. Since June 21 is the Summer Solstice-the longest day of the year- I thought I would post this picture of us heading to Seward, Alaska on the Seward Highway.  Anchorage will enjoy 22 hours of daylight on the solstice!  We didn’t see any resident moose on the road on this trip but they are out there! Summer is a great time for a road trip in Alaska, with many hours of daylight for sightseeing. I would definitely take another trip up there again!
