This month’s photos are from our recent trip to Fiji. With over 330 islands, Fiji is the place to go for turquoise waters, coral reefs, beautiful beaches, scenery, and friendly people.

Wander Wednesday

There are hundreds of beautiful islands in Fiji. Modriki (Monuriki) Island was used as a setting in the Tom Hanks movie “Castaway.” It’s become a popular tourist spot, and people like to recreate the “Help Me” sign from the movie. This island is a wildlife sanctuary, so visitors are asked to stick to the beaches. We enjoyed a short sojourn to soak up the atmosphere.
