This month we have photos of trees from both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres.
While it may be winter in one half of the world, it’s summer in the other half! Get out there and enjoy it all!
Wander Wednesday
“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien
This is part of the “Wedding Oak” near San Saba Texas. Easily 500 years old, it is an official State of Texas Historical Marker, and has been a popular site for weddings over the years. It is said that Comanche Indians used this area for sacred gatherings. When we’re in the San Saba area (great for pecans) we always take a few extra minutes to check on the tree. Do you ever travel to see special trees?
