Wander Wednesday
“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien
Welcome to autumn!
While the coronavirus is still out there, we are traveling a lot! Please remember to stay safe and get the boosters as needed. This month we are highlighting the Marquesas Archipelago, one of the five island groups that make up French Polynesia. We visited several of the fascinating volcanic islands on the SS Paul Gauguin.
This islands of French Polynesia have gorgeous flowers. This white flower with the yellow center is a plumeria, also called frangipani. It has a warm scent that is often used in perfumes. This flower is often confused with the Tahitian Tiare flower, but the tiare is a species of gardenia, and grows on bushy plants. The plumeria is a tree. Wherever you go, you will be enchanted by the flora.
Where would you like to be wandering?
