Wander Wednesday

“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien

The Covid-19 pandemic has prevented us from traveling the world the way we used to. While I am not advocating that you travel now, if you choose to travel, please heed government guidelines for health and safety. Be sure to check the health situation in the place you are going and be prepared with appropriate supplies. Remember the health measures that you take to protect yourself also protect those around you! If you can’t travel now, you can still dream about where to go when you can! This month I’m showing photos of our travels to some of the beautiful places in the lower 48 states!

This tinman was hanging on the side of a barn near Harrison, Idaho. Harrison is on the banks of the gigantic Lake Coeur d’Alene. We loved this small quirky community where people drive their boats to the restaurants and cycle the rail trails. It is about an hour’s drive to the town of Coeur d’Alene. We rented a house on the water and thoroughly enjoyed the area.

Where would you like to be wandering?
