Azamara Cruises has three ships: Azamara Quest, Azamara Journey, and the Azamara Pursuit. The smaller size (about 650 passengers) allows for the ship to dock closer to town, while larger ships often have to anchor farther out. This photo was from our 2019 Alaska cruise-you can see how close it was to shore! We’ve been on Azamara ships twice and are excited to sail again in 2021. Our cruise will be 11 nights from Lisbon, Portugal to Southampton, UK, departing June 13, 2021. Azamara is known for cultural immersion and comfortable luxury. This cruise will spend two nights in Bordeaux, France, and one night in Nantes (Loire Valley), giving ample time to tour the regions. IF you are interested in coming along with us, let me know!
