Wander Wednesday

“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien

Morocco is a country of contrasts: the cities, with new, old, and very old areas, the mountains, and the deserts. We were fortunate to work with the knowledgeable people at Experience Morocco, who ably assisted us with our two-week itinerary.  Hopefully, these photos will show some of the many facets of our Morocco adventure.

This is Zahib, our Berber guide at the Erg Chebbi Desert in eastern Morocco. In addition to driving us safely through the dunes to and from the camp, he was part of the nightly entertainment, playing the drums and singing. We spent two nights at the Erg Chebbi Luxury Camp and enjoyed getting to experience some of the local Berber and African cultures, along with amazing sunrises and sunsets.
