Wander Wednesday

“Not all those who wander are lost.”- J.R.R. Tolkien

Belgian Chocolate is arguably the best in the world. Locals have their favorite chocolatier, perhaps the venerable Mary or Neuhaus or the more contemporary Laurent Gerbaud. Try the popular praline with hazelnut or fudge filling or the solid piecesĀ  topped with dried fruits or nuts. I’ve made both kinds in classes in Brussels and Bruges, and I highly recommend the experience. If you like chocolate, don’t miss an opportunity to try it here. This photo is from the Choco Story Museum in Bruges, telling the story of chocolate from bean to bar and beyond.
